Here are the quick hits for March 12, 2018:

TerrAscend

Canadian-owned TerrAscend Corp. (CSE:TER) announced that its subsidiary, Solace Health Inc. was granted a license by Health Canada to sell dried cannabis. The licence will permit it to launch the Solace Health Marketplace, an e-commerce platform for Canadian patients. The platform will offer multiple brands, cannabis products and strains with varying cannabinoid profiles and will launch in the coming weeks. Solace Health has secured in excess of 1,000kg of dried cannabis including 15 different genetic strains through its own cultivation and industry partnerships.

India Globalization Capital, Inc.

India Globalization (IGC) appointed Carrolee Barlow, MD, PhD as an Advisor to help develop solutions and treatments for Parkinson’s disease utilizing cannabis related formulations. Dr. Barlow is a renowned expert in neuroscience & neurodegeneration and is currently the CEO of the Parkinson’s Institute and Clinical Center.

JuJu Royal

International Cannabrands Inc. (CSE:JUJU.A) (GEATF)  announced that it entered into an agreement with Cathedral City Care Collective, a dispensary in Cathedral City, California, to launch the first dedicated section of a store to JuJu Royal Products. It’s a store-within-a-store concept where the Cathedral City Care Collective will devote a whole section of its store to the full line of JuJu Royal™ products, including cannabis, extracts, vape pens, edibles, and ancillary products.

The dispensary is unique in that it offers customers a lounge-type atmosphere, which is a vibe that fits the Julian Marley image. As International Cannabrands CEO Jeffrey Britz put it, “Cathedral City Care was particularly drawn to Julian Marley and the Rastafarian culture that the JuJu Royal brand embodies. We are very pleased to have this knowledgeable, compassionate group of people to be the first to feature the JuJu Royal Products in their store and we welcome them to the JuJu family.”

MariMed Inc.

MariMed Inc.’s (MRMD) Kalm Fusion brand precision dosed Kalm-Corn cannabis infused popcorn and Kalm Powdered Tincture drink mixes are now available for the first time to state-licensed Nevada dispensaries as part of MariMed’s national expansion of its branded products.
