The Green Market Report Tech Awards were presented following the first-ever Green Market Report Tech Summit on Sept. 8 at The Pearl event space in San Francisco. This week, we’ll be providing a closer look at the honorees.
Best Cultivation Tech: Agrify
A provider of advanced cultivation and extraction solutions for the cannabis industry, Nasdaq-listed Agrify brings data, science and technology to the forefront. Proprietary micro-environment-controlled vertical farming units enable cultivators to produce high-quality products with unmatched consistency, yield and return on investment at scale.
The advanced cultivation technology is powered by Agrify Insights, a cloud- and browser-based application for desktop, tablet and mobile phones that automates and manages the system’s processes. The platform provides cultivators with the management tools needed to maintain precise and product growing environments. Data gleaned from across the entire grow environment are monitored and analyzed, then cataloged to inform future cultivation processes.
Agrify’s cultivation software integrates with government-mandated reporting systems such as Metrc and Confident Cannabis. Additionally, the company has agreements with Portugal-based BioCann and New Zealand-based Orap Pharm.
In January, Agrify acquired extraction companies Pure Pressure, Precision Extraction Solutions and Cascade Sciences, expanding their reach to become a leader in the U.S. extraction market. In June, the company also unveiled its new short path, thin film distillation system: the CannaBeast 13.
